Braised Chicken with Mushrooms in Garlic White Wine Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lg chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 pkg mushrooms
  • 1 cup chicken bone broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

Equipment

  • Large Sautee Pan

Method
 

  1. Clean mushrooms and set aside
  2. Heat oil over medium high heat until oil has legs
  3. Sear chicken breasts on each side for 2 minutes
  4. Remove chicken and set aside
  5. Reduce heat to medium
  6. Add butter and garlic to pan
  7. Sautee garlic until aromatic then add mushroom
  8. Cook until mushrooms are tender
  9. Add bone broth, wine, and stir to combine
  10. Return chicken to pan and continue to cook covered for 20 minutes
  11. Mix cornstarch with cool water and stir until smooth
  12. Pour in cornstarch mixture to thicken
